There are other diseases like malaria and diarrheal and even wrong or over-prescription of drugs killing more people in a day than this H1N1 virus. Only that these other killers were not given as much publicity.
I see in media everyday, even mms from mobile phone service providers, going around teaching people "prevention of contracting H1N1" by wearing masks, washing hands, covering your mouth when sneezing, self-quarantine, etc. etc. Notice what's wrong here? These are all EXTERNAL prevention. Why not teach people how to build up a strong immune system that can resist infection, building from INSIDE OUT!
And by the way, don't wear those silly masks. They don't protect you in any way. Virus are far tinier and they are airborne. If you can breathe, then likelihood is that the virus is also in the air that you breathe. The masks don't help, it only makes you look silly, and making the masks maker rich.

How to build your immune system? Reduce the acidity of your body by consuming less acidic food. An acidic environment encourages bacteria and viruses to breed in our body and diseased cells to spread rapidly. People with a highly acidic body are those who would be very prone to contract viruses, any virus.
What causes our body to be acidic? Our reckless lifestyle, poor eating habits and poor choices of food. These are some of the culprits, avoid: animal and dairy products, processed foods, foods made from flour and sugar, fried foods, drugs (medications). Prolonged stress and insufficient rest also cause havoc to our body chemical balance.
Remedy:
- Take fibrous food daily, or psyllum husk occasionally, to eliminate if you're constipated. Constipation is the beginning of many diseases because it pollutes your blood.
- Take more plant foods, as fresh and raw as possible. They are more alkaline and provide roughage for a healthy gastro-intestinal system. Enzymes from fresh foods also help with proper digestion of your food, and better absorption of nutrients that your body needs.
- Drink at least 8-10 glasses of water everyday, distilled water is best. Distilled water acts like "magnet" that draws out the toxins that suffocate your cells. Drinking sufficient water will help your body to flush out the toxins (acidic) from your system.
- Drink a glass of fresh green juices everyday. Green juices not only help you build new blood, it is also a blood cleanser, antiseptic (kills bacteria), repair your damaged cells, heal and nourish. Accumulation of dead cells in your body also causes your body environment to be acidic.
- Learn about the variety of vitamins and minerals that your body needs on a daily basis. You get them from fresh fruits and vegetables and plant foods (nuts, seeds, grains, etc.) Consider taking supplements if you don't have easy access to fresh foods.
- Exercise at least one hour, 3 to 4 times a week (alternate days). Exercise helps blood circulation that carries toxins to be eliminated, and at the same time carries nutrition to nourish your cells throughout your body.
Juice a medium-sized lemon with its peel, with a 1-inch ginger skinned. Mix with a glass of 8oz very warm distilled water and add raw honey (not processed honey) to taste. Raw honey is a very important ingredient in this recipe as it is anti-septic. Diabetics use only about 1 teaspoon.
By following the above advice, you will not have to fear any virus. Why let H1N1 bother you? I don't.
