I just shudder at the thought if this is an open practice in China and if it's even being practised here. Another reason to avoid eating meat. And more reasons for not eating decaying meat.
Pictures paint a million words ...

The worker's day begins in the early dawn, when he goes around to collect chicken carcasses.
Usually a few riders are hired by the dead chicken farm to go around looking to buy dead chickens.
Chicken carcasses are strewn everywhere at the court yard, waiting to be processed.
Left in totally unhygenic places for "storage".
Meat decay begins the moment the chicken is dead.

Workers begin work to de-feather the carcasses, in a filthy kitchen where the chicken are soaked in boiling water in a big rusty wok.
The stench is unbearable but the profit is good. Workers work in deplorable condition like this and sometimes they puke.
De-feathering and "cleaning" work done on filthy floors without clean water.
De-feathered chickens are soaked in a discarded bath tub in very little water. Meat decay, decomposition and bacteria breeding continues.
Even processed chickens are still strewn everywhere on the filthy kitchen floors.
Chicken are being tenderized and colored and sold to unsuspecting restaurants to be made into "roasted chicken".
Beware when you buy chicken meat. Where have they come from? How have they been processed? SD.
